Fighting back after conviction

What would you do if you were jailed for life for a crime you did not commit?

Kevin Lane was wrongfully convicted of Bob Magill’s murder in 1994.  Kevin has always believed there was a conspiracy to put him on trial and turned both detective and lawyer.  For almost three decades Kevin has been working tirelessly every day to prove his innocence.

Panorama’s episode in May 2018, Last chance for Justice which featured Kevin’s plight, uncovered new evidence. This evidence is currently with the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), the body tasked with probing alleged miscarriages of justice, in a bid to appeal his wrongful and unjust conviction

Since 1994 Kevin has wrote over 10,000 letters and has also penned a book to highlight the Criminal Justice System and the use of public interest immunity certificates which keeps important evidence hidden from police view.
